Malaysian-German Student Society (MGSS) is the Malaysian student associations found in the Federal Republic of Germany. The association began when the government of Malaysia sent the first group of students to this country in 1990 to explore the field of engineering.

The association functions as an information medium directly between the students and the embassy. This association consists of the supreme council elected annually by the members of the association. While in every city there is also a deputy mayor that represent the students and act as a medium for transferring information from top members of the association to other students and the other way around. With that the smooth relationship between the embassy and the students can be established excellently. In addition the students can also channel the problem or any confusion to the embassy through this association.

In addition, the association also organizes various activities to enhance the relations between the students. So far there has been a lot of organized activities such as rugby, bowling, football and so on, which are represented by students from each cities. Besides being able to bridge the friendship between the students, activities like this can bring the warmth of the atmosphere like in Malaysia, which is always missed by the students, in addition to generate healthy competition between students and hone existing talents.

We are looking forward to see that MGSS grows to assist and organize more activities that are beneficial to the students in the country. In addition to the knowledge gained in the universities, the students could also able to contribute something else to the country after completing their studies here. Hopefully the students could become the outstanding generation that our beloved country Malaysia is dreaming for.
